Summer Fun Via My Phone

I didn't carry my camera around much this summer, but I always had my phone. :) Here is a little bit of summer fun that was captured....

The girls went to Girl Scout camp and after one of the days we went to see the new Monsters Inc. movie. It was a hit!!

Our old next door neighbors became our new neighbors...we couldn't be happier!!

The kids all did a week of VBS and loved it---especially crazy hair day!

I took the girls to the Big Time Rush and Victoria Justice concert at the Pavilion. We went with one of my friends and her daughter and they had a blast on the hill...

Sugar spent a lot of time in the pool with us this summer. She can't swim so she just sits on the steps. One of the days we played dress up with her and it was quite comical as she didn't try to take the goggles off...

We had A LOT of cheer practice going on ALL. SUMMER. LONG. And not just at the gym. These little flyer's want to practice all the time. ALL. THE. TIME. Daddy has learned to be a great base. Maybe he should try out for a team next year?!? LOL.

Gavin did the SCFL football combine and was drafted to the Green Bay Packers. He wasn't thrilled with his team as he is a die hard Steelers fan, but he loved doing Speed Camp and has since loved being on a tackle football team. He was so ready...Mama...NOT SO MUCH...

We had a lot of luck with the new garden. We got a few of these yummy cantaloupe, tomatoes, peppers, jalapenos, tons of green beans, and okra....

We went to Main event to bowl and play games a few times this summer....

The kids did a lemonade stand with the neighbors and made quite a bit of money...

We had manicures and pedicures...

And a few sleepovers.

Gavin slept over at a friends and they decided to wrap our house...

We had our pool resurfaced with Pebble Tech's Pebble Sheen...we love it...

The kids had fun playing in the pool as it was filling back up...

We spent a day at La Torretta with friends...

We drove to Galveston for the day with some friends...

We got caterpillars and watched them change to butterflies and then released them..

I spent some time working on shirts for our school. My friend Stacy and I took on the job of designing all the spirit wear for our school this year...

More movies with friends...

And cheer swim parties...


It was a busy and fun-filled summer. Like always, it went by WAY. TOO. FAST. I wish it would have lasted a tiny bit longer.... But I am ready for some cooler weather and fall scents. Who are we kidding about cooler weather...we're in Texas! LOL.

So Long Summer...it was a good one!
