SonKids Program

The girls had their end of the year program last night. It was cuter than ever. Hadley and Ellie sang their little hearts out, and did all the motions. They were so excited to perform for us and it showed. I love their school and am so thankful that 7 years ago I was told about it. I can't believe I will only have one baby there next year and two official graduates.

So Hadley, our little singer. She shouted the songs and was very theatrical with her motions and facial expressions. I was laughing so hard the whole time. It was so cute. She sang (shouted) 5 little Monkeys and Little Me...and knew EVERY WORD!
She was VERY into it....this is her "Teasing Mr. Alligator, Can't catch me..."

Ellie being the big kid of the school was so excited because they got to lead the United States Pledge, Texas Pledge, and Bible Pledge. Then they did a hand bell performance and then sang two praise and worship songs, How Great is our God and He's My Best Friend.
When she gets nervous....she talks....
Playing the Bells.
"How Great is our God..."
A little Praise and worship Hoedown...
"He's the Alpha and Omega...."
"AMEN!!!"

One of my favorite nights every year!!! And always a reminder of how happy and lucky I feel to be where we are.

Three Good Swimmers- YEAH!!

Hadley is officially a little fish. No longer do we have to worry about her falling into the pool thanks to Miss Bonnie!! 10 minutes, 5 days a week for 4 weeks. We got to graduate a little early. This woman is amazing!!! Thank you Miss Bonnie.
We will miss you!!

Back Hand Springs....Here We Come!!

I was so excited for Ellie tonight. She has been practicing hard to get promoted to the next class in tumbling. She mastered her final skill today and got to go try out for the back handspring class.
She made it and was so proud. We are so proud.
We celebrated with some Orange Leaf after dinner!!

Easter 2011

We celebrated Easter all week. Well, from Wednesday on anyway.

We made Easter treats for Ellie's class.

Ellie, Hads and Gav had their Easter Egg Hunts at School.

We dyed our own eggs. We tried marbled ones this year. We couldn't quite get it but they were pretty anyway.

Instead of the Resurrection Rolls we usually make, we did Resurrection Cookies this year.

The Easter Bunny Came and delivered his Loot for the kids.

And he hid eggs in the yard.

We used the Good ol' Tripod and timer to get a quick family shot before church.

The kids sat in big service with us on Sunday. It was awesome having them in there with us. Afterwards they did the Church Egg Hunt.

Took some more pics of the kids when we got home.

We invited all of our family over for Easter Dinner. We bought a honey ham and I made au gratin potatoes, green beans, and a Lemon Curd berry trifle. Thanks to Food Network and Tyler Florence, it was fabulous!! We ate and swam the rest of the afternoon.

Another Little Morgan

So, how many of you read the blog title and thought I was having another baby?? LOL. Every two years we seem to have another little one and now that our baby girl is 3, it only seemed right to adopt a new little love into the family. Frank has been wanting an English Bulldog since the day I met him. For years we have gone and looked at them, but never come home with one. We thought about getting him one for his birthday this year, but then didn't. We looked around my birthday but no luck. We have been talking to our two friends who own the breed and asking questions and advice. One big thing they both told us was to buy from a reputable breeder since they are prone to some health problems. So we were really excited when my friend Kelly had sent us a website of a lady who just had pups and she had personally gotten one of her 4 bulldogs from there. So this past Sunday we loaded up the car and drove 5 hours to find our new little love. We have been looking at her online now for a few weeks. When we got there, they were all so cute, but ultimately we still picked the girl we had been eyeing. They called her Mia. But she has since become our little Sugar Bear. A.K.A. Shoogy, Shoogs, Sugar booger, Shnook, Piglet, and Miss Piggy... and I am sure the list will continue to go on.

So, without further ado, let me introduce you to the newest little Morgan, Sugar Bear...

She is so cuddly, sweet, and hilarious. It is safe to say we have ALL fallen in love with her.
