One Last Hurrah...

We decided to take the kids on one last summer vacation before school starts. We started the trip with a visit to my parents cabin on the Frio river. It was so relaxing and the perfect vacation to wind down the summer. We rocked on the porch, fed the deer almost hourly, went to the river and played, fished, did a puzzle as a family, read and most importantly relaxed!!!



After a few days at the cabin we told the kids it was time to go home....however we had other plans...we headed to San Antonio and pulled into the Marriot Water Park where we stayed for two days----they were so excited. Smores at night, movies in the pool, water slides, fresh baked cookies & salsa bar in the lobby, great food & restaurants, and tons of kid activities...what's not to love???


It was a great way to end the summer!!!
