SCHOOLS OUT FOR SUMMER!!

A little over a week ago I took my kids to preschool. And it was the last time I was taking Gavin. LAST TIME. Oh, I was welling up with tears as I kissed him goodbye and sent him to his class. I can not believe my big boy is going to Kindergarten next year. He is so ready, and is so excited, but I am having a hard time accepting it. I will be a wreck come August. The last few years have gone by so fast. I must have looked a little ridiculous though that day as a parent came up to me and said, "I need to give you some of my meds." She said she used to cry at stuff like this, but doesn't anymore. Anyway, I felt justified for my feelings but it did make me laugh just a little as I was imagining what I looked like. We had a great year this year. Gavin and Ellie had wonderful teachers who we all just adored. It was hard to say goodbye to them. So, next year Miss Ellie Belly will be in PreK and Gavmo will start Kindergarten. My how time flies.
So Goodbye School....and Hello Summer!!

I cried at Kaden's Pre-K graduation. I think the only mom out of his class too! Don't feel bad. I felt like where did the time go while he was up there singing and reciting and getting his character award.... My goodness.

So much fun!!! I'm glad that it is summer. I have four more days of school with kids. Enjoy each day with that boy of yours :) I bet it will be hard to let him go next year. We'll have to get together this summer!!

Tears are justified for sure!!! I am with you....I feel like the are gone forever once K. starts! Thank goodness it is only 1/2 day here.

I like having my kiddos home and with me, but I know we will love each step of watching them grow.

When I took Addison to see Beauty and the Beast, put on by our Christin High School. I thought how proud I would be to watch one of my kids up there performing. I know those will be fun days too!!!

Enjoy your summer!
