Ellie's First Grade Program

Ellie had her first grade program today. It was so cute. The theme was Olympics and each class was a different country and they did Olympic skills. Ellie was really hoping her class would get gymnastics, but she had a lot of fun with the fencing. Her and her lifelong friend, Maggie were fencing partners and they laughed the whole way through it.

It was really cute although there wasn't a ton of singing involved. Ellie was smiling ear to ear and loved that the family all came to watch her. After her first performance she ran off stage and ran to my Mom and gave her a huge hug. It made me smile.

Here she is with her girlfriends and their countries flag, Brunovia...(Don't dis the flag because this Mama made it and I am not an artist!)

Although Her and Lex aren't in the same class this year, they still get to see each other all the time at school. :) Recess, P.E., and plays like tonight.

What did we do to celebrate her program tonight?? Chick fil a Peppermint Chocolate Chip milkshakes. Those things are the bomb! We have been doing a lot of celebrating around her lately. It has been a fun December in SO many ways!
