Blueberry Picking

Last weekend we finally got around to going blueberry picking. It is nearing the end of the season and we were worried it was getting too late so we headed out in the rain. The kids were so excited to be wearing their rain boots and gear in rain while we picked our little hearts out. It was all fun and games until the thunder and lighting came, and then this mama bear called it quits. We managed to get a good amount though and we froze a bunch to hopefully last us for a few months.


What was the first thing we made when we got home? A Blueberry Buckle. It is so good. I have the recipe on my blog from a few years back here if you want to make it. :)
