Happy Birthday America

My parents had invited us over for a late lunch on the fourth, but when the weather finally was nice, we decided to have them bring the food to our house so we could swim. My dad made yummy ribs and we ate and swam outside all afternoon.

Then our neighbors came over and we headed to Dinner with them...you know...because it's a holiday and it's an excuse to eat more than usual, right??

We had a long wait at Tommy Bahamas but the kids had fun...and can you believe this picture??

Hadley smiled for the camera! Wow...

But I tried again with her Daddy and no luck..

Whenever we move, we are going to miss these neighbors... they are the best!!! The fourth wouldn't be the same without them...

Time to go watch the fireworks...

Watching the fireworks and listening to the patriotic music always reminds me of how lucky we are to live here.
